Juneau to Caye Caulker
As I left Juneau, I passed by Twin Lakes and watched skaters gliding across the ice and had a twinge of regret leaving the cold north. I do like winter when the conditions are right. Skiing, skating in the sunny cold, yeah I could have enjoyed that. But plans were laid and I headed out.
I had a row all to myself on the first leg to Seattle and took a nap. A short layover and on to LAX and, yikes, 9 hour layover. I bailed and rented a car. Drove to Manhatten Beach, walked the Strand from one end to the other, watched the sunset and made my last calls from the states.

I had dinner at a strip mall Peruvian restaurant  with live Pueruvian music. The food was okay. Kind of South American putaine. Spiced chicken over French fries. The music was great!

Then it was the red-eye to Belize City.
A taxi to the water taxi terminal and the water taxi to Caye Caulker.
Ahh
